His breakthrough into DJing came during his time at Moi University. What started as spinning music at small house parties for friends quickly grew into a deeper passion. He began creating mix tapes using Virtual DJ software, steadily sharpening his ear and technical skills. This foundation led him to Oasis Multimedia, where he gained hands on experience with Pioneer CDJs and began to understand the professional side of the craft.
In 2011, Noel received formal mentorship from DJ Rough Idea, now of Scratch Extreme, and later continued learning under DJ One. These experiences marked a turning point and by 2012 he had committed fully to a serious DJing career.
Today, Mixmaster Noel pursues a solo career as a part time DJ, bringing over a decade of experience to every set. He has featured in mainstream and corporate events, road shows, online radio shows and club performances. Known for his versatility and ability to read the room, DJ Noel Kenya blends classic and contemporary sounds across genres, delivering music that connects with audiences wherever he plays.
